Welcome

Croeso!

Welcome to our school website.

We are a vibrant, multicultural primary school for 2 to 11 year olds based in the City Centre of Swansea. Although we are situated in the town centre, the school is only a 2 minute walk to Vetch Veg and less than 5 minutes from the beach!

The school has a Flying Start (Cynets) and is one form entry from Nursery to Year 6, with no mixed age classes. We have approximately 260 pupils on roll. We place the school at the heart of the community and strive for academic excellence. We pride ourselves on the welcome we provide to everyone associated with the school and the commitment of all our staff.

Our school motto is ‘All Different, All Equal’, which underpins our commitment to inclusion and treating others the way you want to be treated. We expect everyone to be treated equally and value learning about and celebrating differences. We aim to create a happy, stimulating and challenging environment where our children can grow in caring surroundings, learning to be ethical and informed citizens of Wales and the world.

We are very proud of our diverse school and the wonderful opportunities and experiences we offer everyone. We encourage our pupils to become independent and reflective in their learning, and we provide opportunities in the curriculum and across a wide range of extra-curricular activities for everyone to extend and challenge themselves.

We believe that is us important to build strong partnerships with everyone involved in our school community and we place an emphasis on mutual respect, support and in developing relationships with parents, carers and families. We understand we all have a role to play in raising the children in our community and together we are stronger!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our new school website. If you have any questions or would like to visit the school please contact us to make an appointment – you will be made most welcome!

Kind regards,

Nicola Fredrickson, Headteacher
